Mega

Today was a big day! Angie and Angela (friends from work) came over to meet our little man and Clay loved the interaction! They both made him laugh - a good, hearty, throaty laugh! It was hilarious to watch! And then they got to witness him "humming" himself to sleep. It really is funny hearing him hum - that's how we know he's sleepy now. I actually think it is his attempt to stay awake, not his attempt to hum himself to sleep. Either way, it's funny!

A little later Clay and I met Nicci (another friend from work) at Cracker Barrel for lunch! Yum! We decided to have breakfast for lunch and it was wonderful. Clay was so good during lunch. And then...he pooped. I was feeding him and all of a sudden I felt a few little poots on my leg and even made the comment to Nicci "I hope he didn't poop all over the place." Well, he did to say the VERY least. I finished feeding him and promptly wrapped him up in a blanket and took him to the bathroom where he got a bath with baby wipes and an outfit change. Ironically, the outfit I had packed in his diaper bag several weeks ago was a home made onsie our friends J-Lynn and Eric made for us. Fittingly, on the front it reads "oops... I just made a mega deuce." As in - I just pooped a huge poop that will make you change my clothes and your clothes. On the butt of the outfit it says "jacuzzi inc." Hilarious. And very true.

We have had a wonderful day today!
