Is sleep really necessary? I'm just curious. We have been experiencing this crazy phenomenon called sleepless nights. It's not every night, thankfully, but it is every other.
Clay sleeps beautifully during the day - he eats every 2 to 3 hours and then sleeps. He is sleeping in the living room during the day so it is noisy, bright, and not conducive to sleep at all and he sleeps perfectly!
We are still sleeping in the living room at night, but we turn all the lights off, turn the television off, and close all he blinds. It is a perfect environment created for sleep and yet we don't sleep. Every other night he wants to eat every hour or just just stay awake and look around.
I can't even get frustrated with him - he's too cute looking at me with those wide awake beady eyes! I guess he's just extra hungry every other night - who knows? I'm not complaining at all, I am loving it! Just curious how much sleep one really has to have to survive...?
