Goal


Before Casey and I met, and even for quite awhile after we had been dating, I was extremely active. I ran constantly, considered myself to be in great shape. Not so much anymore - not at all anymore. My figure is in A shape, but not IN shape. So, yesterday was the start of our exercise journey as a family - and a new start for me personally. And I'm excited about it!

Right now I am having a hard time walking 2 to 3 miles, but I do have a goal in mind. Normally my goals would be in the form of numbers, like "I want to lose 10 pounds" or "I want to weigh X pounds," but now my goal is - I want to be in shape, I want to be fit. I want to be able to run after an active little boy that will be up and running before I know it. I do not want to be stagnant.

I have the tangible proof that I have had a child, he is here - I do not want to have the physical (body) proof that I have had a child. I think it is possible with determination and I have it. My body will never be the same and I am okay with that, but it can be fit!

That's all, that's my goal. I will let you know when I feel like I have reached it!

  1. I've been working on this, too! I've been going to the gym since it got so hot, but we should definitely run outside together when things cool down! :)
