We decided to go celebrate Mother's Day with Memaw and Pop today - we picked A. Sherry up and we were off! Clay was asleep when I picked A. Sherry up so when he woke up in the car and heard her voice it scared him. We pulled over, A. Sherry drove while I gave him a bottle. (He likes to know who is in his presence at all times - kind of cautious like his mom!)
We spent a couple of hours at Memaw and Pop's and let me just say - Clay was the life of the party! He entertained us all! He was so happy to have a new environment to play in and all new stuff to get into! (He also showed off his mad standing up by himself skills - to which everyone ohhhed and awwwed!)
We had such a good day and Casey and I are going on a date tonight - dinner AND (drum roll, please) a movie! It will be the first time we have gone to dinner and a movie - we typically just go to dinner and then we go home, but because "Thor" came out, we must go see it. (Don't ask me what Thor is, I have no idea, all I know is that Casey desperately wants to see it.)
When I got home and looked at these pictures of Clay I cried - I cannot believe how grown up he looks. How grown up he is. It's amazing to me. He melts me every second of every day and I am so thankful to be able to spend so much time with him - the days fly by.
