We have a bald eagles nest right down the road from us! (No, I'm not kidding.) It has been all over the papers and if you look closely enough you can see the mama eagle - the nest is apparently full of little eaglets! So sweet - and pretty awesome that an endangered species made its home near our house! (There are cops/sheriffs that are on the side of the road "guarding" it. They told Casey when he stopped to take pictures that he would have to move on - they are afraid that a crowd may scare the mama eagle and she would leave the nest and the eaglets to die. Plausible, I guess.)
