Clay is 10 months and 1 day young! Happy ten months, little guy! We love you more each day!
I took Clay back to the doctor today to have his ears looked at and lo and behold - he has another (or maybe the same) ear infection in his right ear. So, we have an appointment with an ENT doctor to get tubes in his ears. Not what we had hoped for, but at least he will not suffer through another ear infection after he has his tubes. He apparently has really shortened eustacian tubes in his ears which is the perfect set-up for multiple ear infections for the first couple of years of his life. Hopefully we will get this done within the next week or so - we are just treating his ear pain for now instead of giving him anymore antibiotics. The antibiotics clearly didn't work the first time, so we will forgo them unless it gets worse than it is now. (Trust me when I say I have done the research and it has shown that letting an ear infection run it's natural course and treating the pain is most times better than treating with antibiotics.)
Pictures to come later!
