Clay is trying so hard to be a big boy! Yesterday he was a little fussy about me giving him a bottle and kept trying to bat it out of my hand, so I gave it to him. And guess what? He knew what to do with it! He put it in his mouth and held his bottle for over half of his feed yesterday! We have been practicing with every bottle - I place his hands around the bottle and reassure him that he is doing such a good job. He always seems so proud of himself when he holds it! (Don't get me wrong, I would much rather have to hold the bottle for 20 more years than let him have it, but I am trying - and I mean consciously trying - to let him be a big boy!)
