Reading

Clay loves reading. Okay, he likes being read to. In a very animated, expressive voice. I have read a multitude of things to him and I always get the same little squeal - no matter the material! It is pretty adorable. I am sure that when he is older he will think I am absolutely ridiculous because I get so animated while reading to him. I am just glad he enjoys it!

Now that he can sit up for a longer period of time in his Bumbo seat, I put him in it with the tray attached, and let him read his own books. He is not too sure about it yet, but we will keep trying. He does the same thing with each book you put up there. Every time. He looks at it, reaches for it, looks a little intimidated by it, and throws it on the floor. And then the giggling ensues. Hilarious!
