We have established a weekly routine - tentatively. We spend a lot of time reading, eating, eating some more, and learning about body parts. We focused on the eyes this week! I know it's early, but when you have a brilliant child you have to keep him entertained! He is the sweetest, most in tune little guy I have ever met. (Biased much?)
We also go have lunch with Casey once a week! Clay is so good when we go! He doesn't like sitting in the car seat though, he wants to be held during lunch. Quite alright with me, but Casey is the one that has to hold him. Even if he has just eaten he thinks the second he gets near me he has to nurse! So, Casey gets to hold him when we go eat. We have both learned the art of multitasking.
He is an independent little guy and requires stimulation when he is awake, which I love. He spends a lot of time on his play mat learning to reach for things, learning cause and effect, and trying to roll over! (He knows that if he pulls his knees up on his play mat he hits the rattle with his legs and it makes noise - it is so cute to watch!)
Well, I am off to work again for the weekend! So, 3 day hiatus again. I will be taking a blogging vacation every weekend so I can spend all my time with my family!
