We have gotten into a great morning routine, one that includes said "man time." We wake up, change a lovely diaper, I feed Clay, and he is swooped off by his daddy to have man time in the nursery. Casey makes his cup of coffee and takes Clay to watch a little TV and have some good 'ole male bonding time. This morning, instead of the Today Show, I caught them watching Wheelers Dealers. I think Clay was enjoying it just as much as Casey was!
The wonderful thing about the mornings is after Clay eats he is wide awake until I have to feed him again, which means the majority of his awake time during the day is spent bonding with dad! It's a great thing considering Clay is attached to me the majority of the day and night! I am loving every minute of this motherhood thing - it's better than I could have ever imagined!
